Creating Your Brand of Beautiful with Bailie White
In this episode of The Ready Enough Podcast, host Lauren Beane sits down with Bailie White, an entrepreneur, speaker, and podcaster, to explore her transformative philosophy, Your Brand of Beautiful, and share actionable insights on how to align your goals, quiet the noise, and create a life that truly reflects your values.
About our guest
Bailie White is a motivational speaker with nearly 10 years of entrepreneurial experience and a heart for serving, motivating, and encouraging women.
After starting and scaling her first business — a luxury travel agency with a team of 15 women, a celebrity clientele, and multi-millions of dollars in annual sales — she sold the business after realizing what she once thought was her dream, didn’t fully align with the woman she wanted to become.
Today, Bailie is the host of the Your Brand of Beautiful Podcast (debuting on Apple’s Top Charts) and a published author who facilitates workshops and delivers keynote speeches to college women, young professionals, and mamapreneurs. Bailie teaches these women how to Stop Being Busy, Quiet The Noise, and Start Being Them — she teaches them how to become their own Brand of Beautiful.
Bailie has been featured in media outlets like Buzzfeed and Forbes, but is most proud of her title as ‘wife’ and ‘mom’ to her two small children. Bailie lives with her family on the outskirts of Savannah, Georgia.
CONNECT WITH BAILIE
Have you ever set a big goal, reached it, and then looked around and thought, Was this even the right mountain to climb? If so, you’re not alone. In a recent episode of The Ready Enough Podcast, I sat down with Bailie White, a speaker, podcaster, and entrepreneur, to discuss her empowering philosophy, Your Brand of Beautiful. Together, we dove deep into redefining success, setting intentional goals, and creating a life that truly feels like yours.
Here are the key takeaways from our conversation:
1. Climbing the Right Mountain Matters
Bailie shared a pivotal lesson: you can climb a successful mountain and still feel unfulfilled. “You can set the wrong goals and still catch them,” she said. Her journey—from building a thriving travel agency to realizing it wasn’t aligned with her vision—proves that success isn’t just about achieving big things. It’s about achieving the right things for you.
Takeaway: Before setting a goal, ask yourself, Does this align with my values and vision? If the answer is no, it might not be your mountain to climb.
2. The Power of the Your Brand of Beautiful Method
At the heart of Bailie’s philosophy is a simple yet transformative framework: Stop being busy, quiet the noise, and start being you. This method isn’t about perfection or doing it all at once; it’s about making space to hear your own voice amidst the chaos.
Takeaway: Consider a "noise detox." Take two weeks to step back from social media, limit external influences, and reflect on what truly resonates with you.
3. Goals Can Be a Double-Edged Sword
Goal-setting is a powerful tool, but Bailie cautioned that it’s easy to set goals based on societal expectations or external pressures. “A good thing isn’t always the right thing—for you,” she reminded us. Instead, focus on goals that align with your unique vision of success.
Takeaway: Write down your goals daily. This simple practice not only keeps them top of mind but also helps you notice when they no longer align with your life.
4. Don’t Let Others Put a Lid on Your Potential
Bailie shared the powerful analogy of grasshoppers in a jar: once a lid is placed on the jar, the grasshoppers learn to stop jumping higher than the lid’s height—even after the lid is removed. Similarly, the limits others place on us can become self-imposed if we’re not careful.
Takeaway: Stay vigilant about whose opinions you allow to influence you. You’re the only one who can define how high you jump.
5. Intentionality is the Key to Balance
As a mom, wife, and entrepreneur, Bailie knows the challenges of balancing multiple roles. Her advice? Focus on being where your feet are. Whether it’s family time, work, or self-care, give your full attention to the present moment.
Takeaway: Identify what truly matters in this season of your life and pour your energy there. Everything else can wait.
Ready to Create Your Brand of Beautiful?
If Bailie’s story taught us anything, it’s that you don’t need to have it all figured out to start designing a life that feels beautiful to you. By quieting the noise, getting intentional about your goals, and staying true to your unique vision, you can create a life that aligns with who you are.
