CONNECT WITH CORRIE
Ever feel like no matter how hard you try, you’re still drowning in overwhelm? Like your to-do list is running the show, and you’re just along for the ride? You’re not alone, friend.
On the latest episode of The Ready Enough Podcast, I sat down with the incredible Corrie LoGiudice—keynote speaker, coach, and TEDx alum—who helps ambitious women transform overwhelm into extraordinary action. And let me tell you, her Overwhelm Culprit Framework is a game-changer.
The Truth About Overwhelm
Corrie hit me with this golden truth: Overwhelm doesn’t mean you’re failing—it just means something has changed, and your strategy needs to catch up. Mic drop.
Instead of letting overwhelm take the wheel, Corrie helps women identify the root cause (a.k.a. their overwhelm culprit) so they can tackle it head-on. And guess what? There are five main culprits.
The 5 Overwhelm Culprits (Which One is Yours?)
According to Corrie, overwhelm usually comes from one (or more!) of these five culprits:
1️⃣ Lack of Clarity – You don’t just need to know what you want, but why you want it. Without that, motivation fizzles fast.
2️⃣ Lack of Confidence – Imposter syndrome, self-doubt, or perfectionism keeping you stuck? Yep, that’s this one.
3️⃣ Lack of Community – Who’s in your corner? Surrounding yourself with the right people makes all the difference.
4️⃣ Lack of Conditioning – If you’re neglecting your physical or mental well-being, your capacity to handle stress takes a hit.
5️⃣ Lack of Consistency – The magic isn’t in giant leaps—it’s in showing up daily, building small habits that create momentum.
So, How Do You Break Free from Overwhelm?
Corrie’s biggest advice? Start small. Instead of trying to overhaul your life overnight, pick one culprit and take action on it today.
🔥 Feeling stuck? Brain dump everything swirling in your head onto paper. Just getting it out of your brain creates clarity and calms the chaos.
🔥 Struggling with confidence? Reframe your fear. If you’re scared, it probably means you’re on the edge of something big.
🔥 Drowning in the mental load? Create systems. Automate, delegate, and simplify where you can. Your brain is not a to-do list!
Why This Matters (Especially for Working Moms)
If you’re juggling a career, a business, and a family, overwhelm can feel like your middle name. But Corrie reminded me that our kids are watching. The way we handle stress, take risks, and prioritize ourselves teaches them how to navigate their own challenges one day.
So, what example do you want to set?
